Pres asks is we have any questions/ concerns
Couple things to say from pres
- Meeting with Simon on divestment- emailed him and said too busy to do townhall- Izzy asked if we should do an online forum thing
o Unsure if go ahead
- Master said about Dowfess floating around Howard lodge and singer building- master comes to the bar for students to ask questions to make an easy communication about it
o Looking at time for master for people to see
o Tuesday night perhaps
- Richmond lecture- jcr ran lecture- some celeb person comes and then has drink in master lodge
- Economics editor at the bbc- honorary fellow
o She’s going to do a lecture and would prefer to do q and a on stage- geography and economics students
o Then time for audience
o George needs to advertise it
o Seven spots left to give if any one’s interested- free of charge in masters lodge
o Mcr pres and some fellow
o 5th march
o Dharshini David is her name

o Interested in student loans at the moment
- Question about hand over dinner
o Rough date for elections is after the ballot- last week of term
o Worst comes to worst first week of next term
- Ballot bit delayed

§ Sent wrong rent pot figure so did not have right balance
o But should be nothing wrong with sorting out of ballot
o Maybe rent negotiations should be student lent and hand to college to do rest- college bursary etc lots of communications crossed

o Jcr nominations 27th Feb then march soon around

o Bit problem with academic tutorial talks-
o Didn’t know why college didn’t go ahead with it
§ Assume didn’t have enough people but communication wasn’t there
o Students want more diversity in staff and students
o Do we need more intake from diverse backgrounds for downing ambassadors
o Maybe pay students to convince people to join
o Other colleges as paying there students
